How the community works

The Best Beer community is a place to share what you are drinking. Post a check-in with the beer, the style and a short note, and read what other members are enjoying right now. Everyone can read check-ins and reviews; you need a free log in to post.

Good check-ins

Say what the beer is, where you had it and what it tasted like. Mention the style if you know it, and be honest: a short, specific note is more useful to other readers than a long one. Photos of your own glass or can are welcome.

House rules

Be kind to other members and to brewers, keep it legal and keep it about beer. No advertising, no spam and no posts that encourage drinking too much or drinking and driving. Members must be of legal drinking age where they live. Posts that break the rules are removed.

Reviews

A review is a longer check-in: tell us about the look, the aroma, the taste and the finish, and whether you would buy it again. Scores are personal, so explain them. Reviews that compare a beer with others of the same style help readers most.
